Austria - Salzburg
Study abroad amidst mountains and Mozart on CSB+SJU’s longest running program! Live and study in Salzburg, Austria, a city of 150,000 residents. Over the course of the semester you will study German language and also explore European art, history, business, culture, music, and politics through courses (taught in English), visits to local museums and historical sites, and program related excursions throughout Austria.

Accommodations
Participants live in student dormitories with other international students. These two-person rooms offer a private bathroom, kitchen facilities, and basic amenities, including internet.
Financial Considerations
During a semester abroad, CSB+SJU students pay the same tuition as if on campus. Instead of paying for a CSB+SJU Housing and Meal Plan, all students studying abroad pay an Education Abroad Program Fee. Find Program Fee information on the CSBSJU-Global Portal.
Students should plan early for a successful study abroad experience. Financial aid and scholarships may be available to help with the program costs, but must be searched out well in advance.
Please note: To obtain the required visa to study on this program you will need to travel to a VFS Visa Application Center in the U.S. for visa processing (most commonly, Chicago). This is not included in your program fee. Further information about dates and processes will be provided by CGE after your acceptance to the program.
