Spend your summer in an international non-paid internship in one of the most vibrant cities in the world, Dublin, Ireland. As the modern business landscape is all about globalization, international markets, and benefiting the public good, there’s never been a better time to make your resume standout than by jumpstarting your career with an internship at a small-to-medium company in Dublin.
While on this internship program, our partner site will you will complete an internship placement with a small to mid-sized company in Dublin, which is a pre-professional, field-based experience coupled with an academic course with our partner FIE. The internship will occur for at least 4 days a week for two months.
Possible internship placement areas include: Accountancy & Finance, Communications, Graphic & Web Design, Business Administration, Economics, Charity & Non-profits, History & Cultural Organizations, Human Resources, Media, Information Technology, Advertising, PR & Marketing, Legal & Justice Organizations, Sports, and Travel & Tourism.
Through FIE's internship placements, you have the opportunity to build professional skills, increase industry knowledge and experience working in a different culture and in a major global city. All internship placements are procured by FIE, so students will not need to find their own internship.

Program Cost & Financial Considerations
During a summer program abroad, CSB+SJU students will pay the cost of the required 1-4 CSB+SJU credit(s) at the reduced summer tuition rate. In addition, all students studying abroad will pay and Education Abroad Program Fee. All program fee information is found in the “Financing your Experience-Short-term” brochure found on the Financing Study Abroad website. You will also find more information about what is included and not included in the program fee on the CSBSJU-Global Portal .
Students should plan early for a successful study abroad experience. Financial aid and scholarships may be available to help with program costs, but must be searched out well in advance.
If accepted in the Global Fellowship Program, a $2,000 Fellowship award is applied to your program. Please note, Global Fellows are not eligible for the CSB global scholarship, but are eligible for other external scholarships.
Accommodations
Participants on the Ireland-Dublin program will live in furnished flats (apartments). In the flat, there are single sex bedrooms, but the kitchen and living rooms areas are shared by FIE students. Also residing in the same building, are other US or International students. Meals are not included in the program fee, but students have access to shared furnished kitchen facilities in the student residence. This housing option is about a 20-30 minute walk to the heart of the city. Wireless Internet access is available in all buildings.
