Updated Cancellation Fee Policy for Spring 2021 Semester Study Abroad Programs

Withdrawal from a study abroad program must be made in writing to the Center for Global Education. CGE reserves the right to not fill a space resulting from a student's withdrawal.

Refunds for tuition and any recoverable fees on the program site are made to any student who withdraws during the semester abroad by formal written notice according to the general refund policy in the Course Catalog.

 

UPDATED CANCELLATION FEE POLICY FOR SPRING 2021 PROGRAMS

Student Withdrawal from Program

Cancellation on or before September 1, 2020

  • Full refund of $300 application fee
  • No cancellation or unrecoverable fees charged

Cancellation between September 2, 2020 – October 31, 2020

  • Student is responsible for unrecoverable expenses, up to 50% of the Education Abroad Program Fee 
  • Full refund of $300 application fee
  • No additional cancellation fees will be charged

Cancellation between November 1, 2020 – Program Departure

  • Student is responsible for unrecoverable expenses, up to 100% of the Education Abroad Program Fee 
  • Full refund of $300 application fee
  • No additional cancellation fees will be charged

 

CSB/SJU Cancels a Program

  • Full refund of $300 application fee
  • No cancellation or unrecoverable fees will be charged
