Dr. Lisa Lindgren is an associate professor of Management at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University. Born in the thriving city of Minneapolis, Dr. Lindgren attended the University of Minnesota where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science with a minor in Humanities. She continued her education at the University of St. Thomas where she obtained her Masters in Business Administration, and later attended Capella University where she received her Ph.D. in Organization and Management.
Dr. Lindgren’s extensive work history includes employment at Plymouth State University where she served as an Assistant Professor for seven years (2000-2007), Cisco Systems and Memorex Telex as a Product Line Manager and NCR Comten as a Systems Analyst for eight years (1989-1997) and lastly a Consultant, Author and Editor over a three year period (1997-2000). She came to CSB/SJU in the fall of 2007.
Dr. Lindgren currently resides in Maple Grove but has plans to build in Collegeville. When she’s not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her two Golden Retrievers and cat, reading and planning the house she’s going to build.
We are very happy to have Dr. Lindgren here with us. When asked what her favorite part of CSB/SJU was, she replied, “The strong sense of community.” We welcome her into that community with open arms!
