If objects had the ability to store memories, how would those memories be retrieved?
The wear and daily use of domestic items might accumulate recollections of dreams, remembrances, relations.
The violent disruption of those memories might result in nightmares.
Where Dreams Remained is a photographic investigation of daily objects collected that help us imagine stories through domestic artifacts and disruptions.
The images, captured with a large format camera and a CNC imaging device, retain a remarkable amount of detail that can be read as layers of information. The extracted data can be used to conform personal and collective narratives of our current times.
