Senior Art Thesis: Encounter

Senior Art Thesis: Encounter

April 2, 2022 - April 30, 2022
Alice R. Rogers and Target Galleries, SJU

Within the last few years, in person encounters have become a privilege due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The lack of in person interactions has exemplified the importance of collaboration in all ways of life. The creation of our independent senior work has been an intersection point for us as artists. Our process and show have been impacted by our work being encountered by one another. As individual artists, this exhibit displays many different themes that hold importance within at least one of us. A multitude of mediums is on display, a literal intersection point of various artists. As a result, our show is a collection of ideas and themes that we feel compelled to share through our work. We are excited for viewers to encounter and discover our artwork!

This cohesive exhibition will feature an Artist Reception from 1:00 -3:00 PM on Saturday, April 2nd. In addition, students will give artist talks on Scholarship and Creativity Day on April 21st.
