Beauty Given by Grace: The Biblical Prints of Sadao Watanabe

Beauty Given by Grace is a traveling exhibition featuring original works of graphic art by Sadao Watanabe, Japan’s foremost Christian artist of the 20th century. The intricately patterned images in a variety of styles offer panoramic views of the Bible. Watanabe found inspiration in the mingei folk art movement that promoted traditional handcrafts made from natural materials. This exhibit is on loan from CIVA - Christians in the Visual Arts.
