The St. John’s Boys’ Choir opens their season with a family friendly favorite – Shrek the Musical!
This fully-staged musical theater presentation will feature some songs from the movie along with newly composed material by Tony Award winning composer Jeanine Tesori and Pulitzer Prize-winning lyricist David Lindsay-Abaire.
Performance run time is 70 minutes.
Saturday Gala Performance:
Join us for a reception in the Great Hall, SJU beginning at 6:00 p.m. and you’ll be treated to hors d’oeurves, cash bar, and VIP performances by soloists from the show emceed by Shrek and Donkey. The musical performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Stephen B. Humphrey Theater following the reception.
Sunday Matinee Performance:
This perfomrance will be ASL interpreted, located stage left.
