Literature to Life is a theater company that specializes in adapting prize-winning books for the stage. This one-man play brings to life Junot Diaz’s poignant story, The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao.

Oscar is an overweight Dominican boy growing up in Paterson, New Jersey who obsesses over science fiction, falling in love, and the curse that has plagued his family for generations. Despite endless taunting, Oscar remains true to himself. This is a powerful tale of cultural identity, coming of age and the endless human capacity to persevere in the name of love.

Best for ages 14+. Please note, this performance contains adult themes and language.
