CSBSJU Theater: The Tempest

The Tempest

Directed by Kaarin Johnston

Shakespeare’s last play is full of illusions, love and hope.  Our production presents the tale of shipwrecked Prospero (now Prospera) and daughter Miranda using a gendered approach.  Prospera has been nursing a 15 year desire for revenge while young Miranda has grown into a maiden ready to discover physical love.  When Prospera’s long-time enemies arrive on the island, with a young prince in tow, the magic begins.

The November 15th performance at 7:30 will be FREE.  To claim you tickets follow this link:  https://www.csbsju.edu/forms/3K5FUFWHBJ
