The legendary agility, strength and dexterity of the gauchos (cowboys) of Argentina fueled the creation of malambo. What was once a fast-paced competition of precision footwork has grown into one of the world’s most visually stunning dance forms. It’s filled with power, passion and energy. Since 2007, it’s been a growing global sensation thanks to the touring of Che Malambo – an all-male dance company created by noted French choreographer Gilles Brinas. Che Malambo will deliver a delirious blend of masterful footwork, rhythmic stomping, drumming and song.
