Catalyst Quartet is reshaping the perception of classical music.
All four members are winners of the prestigious and rigorous Sphinx Competition, which offers young Black and Latino classical string players the opportunity to compete and perform at an international level. This performance will feature selections from their acclaimed Goldberg Variations, arranged collaboratively among all four musicians, in addition to selections from their Zone B program, a musical exploration of four great masters of string quartet whose names begin with B: Bach, Beethoven, Bartok and Brahms.
