Dr. Trista Olson’s primary academic research interests are focused on physical activity in special populations. Her most recent academic research activity has been interdisciplinary in nature centered around physical activity and exercise in cancer survivors, college students with disabilities, Veterans, and individuals at risk for mental health and substance use disorders.

Applied Experience

Trista has worked in a variety of areas in the field of exercise science including personal training, wellness coaching, strength training and conditioning, and both cancer and cardiac rehabilitation. She is dedicated to the continued advancement of the field of exercise science in the areas of Clinical Exercise Physiology and Exercise is Medicine.
