Environmental Studies

What is your favorite outdoor activity?

My favorite outdoor activity is playing a sport or walking the trails at Saint John's.

Why did you decide to major in Environmental Studies?

I chose to major in Environmental Studies because I have always had a love for the outdoors. Being able to major in something that I have always loved and cared about is exciting. I also want to help the environment in any way I can.

What environmental issue are you most passionate about?

I am most passionate about climate change.

What is your favorite Environmental Studies class and why?

My favorite Environmental Studies class is Geographic Information Systems (GIS). It is very difficult but the most interesting and cool class I've taken. Learning that all maps are made with a purpose to them was something I never noticed before. I will never look at maps the same.

What are you looking forward to as an Environmental Studies student?

I am looking forward to getting out into the real world and take on whatever I am tasked to accomplish in order to make the environment a better place.
