How did the economics major prepare you for law school?

Economics is a great major in preparation for law school because it allows you to learn both the "big picture" and deep analytical skills. I am interested in business and tax law and have found that having a background in economics has been both impressive to others and helpful in my studies. I also majored in history, and that allowed me to improve my reading and writing skills and was as an excellent complement to economics.
