Symphony Orchestra joins forces with The Minnesota Center Chorale for a
performance of Te Deum by both Anton Bruckner and Zoltan Kodaly. The Te
Deum is an early Christian hymn of praise, the title of which is taken from
its opening, Te Deum laudamus, rendered literally as "Thee, O God,
we praise." It is used in thanksgiving to God for a special blessing and
we are using it as a Centennial Celebration. Both Bruckner and Kodaly were ardent music educators so it is appropriate we have chosen them for this special occasion.
Seniors/Faculty/Staff $10, Students $5
