Sustainability Internship
The internship will foster the research, scholarship and practical application of students committed to sustainability. The selected intern will gain knowledge about greenhouse building; hone research abilities and organizational skills; work closely with the Director of Sustainability and the indigenous community of Yambiro; and develop a plan for the building of a sustainable greenhouse. The successful implementation of this internship epitomizes the concept of "sustainability in-action" as it addresses economic, cultural, gender, environmental, and social justice issues for the people of Yambiro.
