Local Non-profit & Community Tier Registration

Local non-profits and CSB/SJU community members (students, staff, local retirees, and local monastics interested in items for personal purchase/use) are eligible to bid on surplus items in the Local Non-profit & Community Tier. 

If you qualify, please follow the steps below to register.

To register as a GovDeals buyer:

1. Logon to govdeals.com
2. Click on Register
3. Register as a Bidder.
4. Registrants are manually verified and registration may take several days. You may expedite your registration by calling the toll-free number (800) 613-0156 extension 1 or by emailing [email protected].
5. You have registered as a buyer on GovDeals and will receive a confirmation via e-mail.

Note: The steps above are one-time steps will not have to be repeated.

To join the Local Non-profit & Community Redistribution Tier:

1. Logon to govdeals.com
2. Login with your Username and Password
3. Click on “Your Name” and select “Tiers”
4. Click on the Account dropdown and select "College of Saint Benedict, MN" and click “Select”.
5. Click on “Subscribe” beside the “ Local Non-profit and Community Redistribution Tier".
6. Your membership in this tier should be approved in three business days.

Note: The steps above are one-time steps.  You will need to repeat these steps if you click on Unsubscribe.

To view and bid on items in the Local Non-profit & Community Redistribution Tier:

1. After you are notified of tier member approval via e-mail, logon to govdeals.com.
2. Login with your Username and Password
3. Click on “Your Name” and select “Tiers”.
4. Click on “Yes” in the Assets Available column for the “Local Non-profit and Community Redistribution Tier"

You will now be able to view and bid on items available in the Local Non-profit and Community Redistribution Tier.
