Wondering What To Bring? Think 3 S’s:

SIMPLE

Only bring things to get yourself situated right away.
Be mindful that you are living in shared space.

Talk to your roommate beforehand to plan your space

STYLISH

Bring things that will make you more comfortable and the
transition to college easier

Be creative! Make your room unique – Your dormitory is
somewhere you should enjoy spending time in

SUSTAINABLE

Students may bring mini=fridges (5 cubic feet or less)
consider using public fridges or renting appliances

Bring at least one water bottle! There are hydration stations
throughout campus, leave the bottled water behind.

Note: All beds at CSB are standard twin beds. A limited supply of XL Twin mattresses are available by request on a first come first served basis.

Laundry

All washers in the laundry rooms on campus are High-Efficiency (HE) washers and require HE laundry detergent. HE detergents are concentrated and low-sudsing, especially for low water HE washers. Regular detergents will damage the washers and cause damage to the machines taking them off line for student use. Please look for the “HE” symbol when you shop for laundry detergent.
