CSB Chapters & Affinity Groups

Alumnae chapters foster opportunities for alumnae to participate in one another’s lives, in the lives of perspective and current students and in the life of the College. Chapter involvement helps bring alumnae together to share experiences, promote connections and encourage Saint Ben’s visibility in area communities.

The Saint Ben’s Chapters are based on geographic proximity and models can range from informal to formal. All chapters are asked to support three specific events or efforts: support or activities for Bennie Day, a local Benedictine Day of Service project, and participation in local enrollment efforts with the CSB/SJU Admission team. A fourth effort is to support a fiscal year-end financial appeal to other Bennies in the chapter area.

Whether you’re the newest Bennie in town searching for a place to live, considering a career move and want advice from other alumnae in your field or appreciate the opportunity to meet other Bennie alums, being a part of a chapter can enhance your life after Saint Ben’s.

Based on where Bennies and Johnnies are, some chapters work jointly and some are CSB chapters or SJU chapters.
