I remember visiting Saint Ben's the summer before my senior year, and I honestly didn't feel like it was "love at first sight". I wasn't thinking that deeply into what college I wanted to go to because I felt as if I had so much more time before I had to make the big decision.

I came back in February of my senior year to visit my cousin who was a first year. I stayed for a night and my thoughts of Saint Ben's changed completely. I began to fall in love with the atmosphere (even though it was freezing the day I came). I thought that Gorecki and McGlynns served the best food, and I loved the fact that everybody was so friendly and personable. I remember visiting a class and I absolutely loved the way the professors interacted with the students. I could tell that the professors genuinely care about the well-being of the students. At Saint Ben's you aren't just a "number". As cliché as it may sound, I felt like this school had an awesome community vibe that I wanted to be part of.

The day that I got my acceptance letter I was so excited. I felt so blessed to receive scholarship that I got. The financial aid makes it possible for me to attend Saint Ben's. I will be forever grateful for the generosity of the donors who made it possible for me to attend this wonderful college. I love that everybody has the opportunity to receive some kind of financial aid and everybody has the chance to have the awesome experience here at College of Saint Benedict.
