Class Giving/YAPC Committee

Major: Elementary Education major; TESL minor

Hometown: La Crosse, Wis.

Why CSB: I chose to attend Saint Ben's so that I could follow in my family's footsteps. Saint Ben's has been a home to many members of my family and I was ready to make it my home.

Why I'm a Class Representative: I am a Class Representative so that I can lead by example to encourage my Bennie peers to give back for future Bennies just like us.

Why I give back: I give back to Saint Ben's to continue the legacy of Bennies giving back. I am part of the 90 percent of students that receive some sort of financial aid. I would not be here carrying out the Saint Ben's experience if it weren't for our loyal alumnae, parents and friends of Saint Ben's. Because of them I have been able to pursue my studies in Elementary Education, study abroad in Ireland and travel to Peru to help deserving families and community members. With the help of alumnae, parents and friends I have also been able to grow and better myself as a student, a teacher and an individual. I want future Bennies to have the same experience that I was so fortunate to have. Everyone can give, including myself, and every little bit counts.
