September 29: Required Oct. 6 Testing Event

Dear CSB/SJU Students:

To help mitigate the spread of COVID-19, CSB/SJU will be holding a required testing event for any student not fully vaccinated or has filed a medical/religious/conscientious vaccine exemption. The testing event will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 6. With many students traveling over the long weekend, the risk for COVID-19 transmission in our community is elevated. This event is being held as an added mitigation strategy to ensure we keep our COVID infection rates low by detecting any new COVID-19 cases early. This testing strategy is consistent with the process established for unvaccinated students when our vaccination requirement was announced in August.

Unvaccinated students will also need to comply with any future testing events that may occur.

When:                  10 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 6

Where:                Sexton Arena in the Warner Palaestra, SJU

Cost:                      $10 per student and this cost can be billed to your student account.

Exemptions:       Anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 90 days (positive test date of July 8, 2021 to present).

Consequences: Students who miss one required testing event will be placed on disciplinary probation until compliant.

Sartell Family Medicine will manage the testing.
