April 8: Message to Staff and Administrators
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
We remain grateful for your work to maintain our shared educational mission in these trying times, and for your patience and goodwill as we navigate together the difficult circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
We know that many of you have questions about how your job will be affected during this time, especially in light of the extended stay at home order issued today. In the coming weeks, some of our staff will be asked to take full or partial furloughs, vacation time, and/or FTE changes depending on individual job descriptions and work available in each department. We are choosing to address these options through an individual lens to best support our employees and the needs of the institutions. Human Resources will be meeting with divisional leaders and department supervisors in the next few days, and your supervisor will share with you specifics related to your position. Know that we are working together to maximize support for any employees who are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thank you again for your dedicated service to our students and to the institutions.
We hope you have a blessed Easter.
Mary Dana Hinton
