What extra-curricular activities are you involved in on campus? How has that involvement helped you succeed?
A student-athlete for three years on the football team and an Editor/Journalist on the Record.
I’ve stayed focused and had to use time-management to make sure I worked just as hard in school as I did in my extra-curriculars. I’ve also met great people in both extra-curricular activities that have extended into my academic life for success.
What advice would you give to students thinking of majoring/minoring in communication?
The advice I would give to a person exploring a communication major or minor is to listen just as much as you speak because everyone has great ideas.
What value do you see in being a communication major at CSB/SJU?
The value of being a communication major is that you get to meet a lot of great people and explore a broad range of career opportunities.
