Megan Junius

Megan Junius leads Peter Hill Design, a full-service and award-winning creative design and marketing firm with over 20 years of successful brand, promotional and advertising work. Megan’s previous 10 years of experience with the firm and mentorship by its original founder, Peter Hill, made her the perfect candidate to take ownership in 2011.

Megan’s collaborative leadership style helps produce strong, creative results for clients of all sizes. She leads the firm with the philosophy that valuable brands combine an exciting blend of compelling ideas, strategy and creative flair. Megan works closely with clients to understand objectives and brings back creative solutions that produce those ‘aha’ moments.

Megan leads brand and advertising projects for local and national consumer and B2B clients. The firm’s client categories from professional services, real estate, financial, consumer goods and non-profits, are a testament to Megan’s versatility. In her work with national and global brands such as Newman’s Own Organics, Beazley, Bosch and Michelin, she’s showcased her skill as a designer who delivers creative business solutions for marketing and advertising. Locally, Megan has built client relationships with Park Dental, Just Bare Chicken, Henson Efron, P.A., Larson • King, LLP, East View Companies, Saint Paul Port Authority and DeGidio’s Restaurant.

Megan’s curiosity and business acumen is bringing the firm to a new level. In 2014, Megan was one of 15 Twin Cities’ graduates of the National Small Business Administration’s Emerging Leaders program. The executive-level intensive entrepreneurship training initiative is considered a mini-MBA. It gave Megan the opportunity to work with experienced mentors, develop connections with peers and complete business analysis, strategy and plans for the firm. In 2015, Megan was also an honoree of The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s Women in Business award.
Megan and the firm’s commitment to community live within their pro bono and non-profit work. The firm has a consistent track record for partnering with local non-profits, by donating a portion of the project work for organizations such as Open Arms of MN, Mill City Summer Opera, Interfaith Action and the American Cancer Society. The firm also carries on Peter Hill’s memory with their annual golf tournament to raise funds for the Evans Scholars Foundation in Peter’s name. Since 2011, the event has raised over $130,000 towards college tuition for caddies.

Megan received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Art from the College of Saint Benedict, including a semester at Richmond, the American International University in London.

Megan is a mom of three – two young girls and little boy. She has a wonderfully, supportive ‘Johnnie’ husband who takes on more than his fair share at home to keep their lives running smoothly — on top of his successful law practice.

Two businesses + 3 kids = a very busy life. They both also support their kids’ Catholic school through community activities, fundraising and marketing efforts.
