Representatives from Minnesota, National and International  organizations will provide candidates with information about job opportunities within their district/organization. Many of the representatives will establish interview schedules AND conduct actual employment interviews on the day of the Job Fair. Representatives will seek to hire in areas of elementary, secondary, special education, school counseling, speech therapy, school social work, and school administration.

    • It is encouraged and strongly recommended that you schedule an appointment to have your resume critiqued by an XPD career ambassador/career coach prior to the registration deadline and before reaching out to participating employers.

Completing the registration form, indicating transportation need, and payment by April 5, 2022, will reserve your spot at the Fair. If you are registered and decide not to attend the Education Job Fair, reimbursement of the$20 fee will only be available until April 5. If you register for transportation and change your mind contact [email protected] immediately as there may be a waiting list for transportation.

Become familiar with the  fluid list of participating organizations/updates available through the CANDIDATE/ALUMNI portion of  the MEJF website. Upon deciding to attend the Fair, you will use this website under posted positions to gain contact/address information to send/email cover letters/resumes/on-line application materials to districts of interest. You will be indicating in your correspondence that you will be attending the Fair on April 12th and you would like to obtain application materials and request an interview for the day of the Fair (follow the instructions on the posted positions site as to how to contact/apply). You will also want to upload your resume on the MN Education Job Fair site as another way that the attending districts/organizations could reach out to you directly to pre-schedule interviews.  Districts/organizations could schedule inteviews by your correspondence sent prior to the Fair, your uploaded resume, as well as your approach to their booth the day of the Fair. Do not be discouraged by districts asking you to apply on-line.  You may wish to apply on-line in advance of the Fair if requested in application details.

Many of the school districts may not know their needs for the coming year by April 12, however, these districts will be available at the Fair to provide information and collect resumes. This in-person event is a valuable networking and interviewing opportunity! Colleges/Universities from thirty teacher producing institutions in Minnesota will have candidates participating in this event. There will be over 100+ organizations represented.

This is a closed job fair.  To be eligible for the Education Job Fair, you must be a student or graduate from one of the  participating Minnesota colleges/universities and pre-register through your college career center (CSB/SJU XPD - Experience & Professional Development).  You must also be licensed or eligible for licensure by December 2022 to attend this event.
