CSB and SJU has partnerships with prominent businesses and organizations where our students can showcase their skills through opportunities like professional internships, research positions, the Mayo Innovation Scholars Program and the Innovation Partners Program.

The biology program at CSB and SJU is designed with the student in mind, giving you the flexibility to study abroad, participate in co-curricular activities, or add on a minor. Many biology students take advantage of study abroad opportunities, including biology offerings in Tanzania, Bahamas, or Galapagos.

 
 
 

Program Overview

Our biology program offers students an opportunity to dive into health and environmental biology. The Biology Department has state-of-the-art labs as well as the chance for students to study in abundant natural land resources. As a biology student at CSB and SJU, you are able to take part in Health, Environment, or Molecular areas.

As a biology student, there are numerous ways to engage with other students, alums, and professionals to learn more about various areas of expertise and tips and tricks for getting jobs or getting into grad school.

From the first semester, students begin to do independent research. They work closely with our faculty on diverse projects inside and outside of classes, including our 10-week paid Summer Research Program.
