Studies of the secondary metabolism in plants and fungi, especially the phenomenon of cyanogenesis, and floristic studies of plants and fungi.

Plant Physiology, Plant Systematics, Introductory Biology

Students interested in botany, plant physiology, mycology, phytochemistry, and forestry.

Dr. Saupe is the curator of the CSB/SJU Bailey Herbarium and editor of the CSB/SJU Biology Department Newsletter.
