Lectio divina is a form of prayerful reading and contemplation that is central to Benedictine life. Every Monday morning from 8:30-9:15am in Reinhart Learning Commons 381, Br. Joe Schneewis will lead attendees through this ancient practice of slow, contemplative reading of the Scriptures. This is not Bible study, but a form of personal, prayerful reflection. Please come as often as you would like, even if just once to try it out. If this is brand new to you, the first Monday of each month will begin with a short 10-minute instruction of the process before beginning the practice.
