Study Abroad in Asia!
The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University have two wonderful semester abroad programs in Asia. Our China program is located at Southwest University in Beibei, Chongqing Municipality and our Japan Program is in at Bunkyo Gakuin University in Tokyo. In addition, for three out of the past four years, CSB/SJU has offered a short-term study abroad trip to Zhanjiang Normal University in Guangdong Province, China.
In the summer of 2009, the Men's Center at SJU is offering "The Sacred Heights of the Himalayas," a non-credit program that travels to India, Tibet and Nepal. The program, which is open to both men and women, is led by SJU Professor Gar Kellom and includes sightseeing, learning sessions, and volunteer work with Tibetan refugees. More information is available on the Men's Center website.
