CSB/SJU is surrounded by a vibrant, local arts community that features many area art organizations, display venues, and creative individuals dedicated to helping Central Minnesota shine as a place for pottery, graphic design, letterpress printing, photography, art fairs, performance and much more. CSB/SJU is just over an hour away from the Twin Cities and all it has to offer artistically. The Art Department sponsors frequent field trips to the Twin Cities and fosters connections between current students and recent graduates as well as Twin Cities artists/art organizations.
