The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University are partners in undergraduate, residential, liberal arts education.
The Saint John’s campus is adjacent to some 2600 acres of woods and lakes of Saint John’s Abbey in Collegeville, Minnesota. Woods, wetlands, and lakes—a wildlife refuge and bird sanctuary—characterize the rural setting of the Saint John’s. The College of Saint Benedict campus is located about five miles east of Saint John’s. The campus is situated within the friendly and quaint town of Saint Joseph, which has a local whole food co-op, a coffee shop, a laundromat, various restaurants, and bars.
There are walking trails near both the CSB and SJU campuses as well as the famous Lake Wobegon Trail that connects the two communities and nearby towns.
The free bus service runs between the two campuses hourly during the day for classes and in the evening for various activities and events.
