Cadets have a unique opportunity to be a part and help run BN level operations. Positions in which they can fill are as follows:

Cadet Battalion Commander:

Gets the unique opportunity to lead peers and ensure all BN tasks are meet. This position will receive mentorship and guidance from the PMS to help grow during this experience.

Cadet Battalion Sergeant Major:

Gets the opportunity to oversee the standards of the BN and ensure each cadet is following them. This position will receive mentorship and guidance from the senior cadre NCO.

Cadet Executive Officer (XO):

This positions gets the opportunity to manage and keep the staff organized during operations. The executive officer will oversee the staff meetings and ensure tasking’s are completed. This position will receive guidance and mentorship from the program executive officer. 

Cadet S1:

This position will be responsible for maintaining administrative operations for the cadets. This means ensuring accountability and physical fitness data are accurate and available for the commander. This position will receive guidance and mentorship from the HRA with oversite from the program executive officer. 

Cadet S2:

This position typical focuses on the enemy situation along with aspects of weather that could affect an operation. This position also focuses on assisting with recruiting and retention opportunities within the program. This position will receive guidance and mentorship from the recruiting operations officer with oversite from the PMS. 

Cadet S3: 

This position will focus on the training operations within the program. Their primary effort will be to ensure labs are planned out by fellow cadets and briefed to the PMS prior to execution. This position will receive mentorship from the program S3. 

Cadet S4: 

This position will focus on the logistical support needed for labs and events. This position will receive mentorship from the supply tech with oversight from the program XO. 

Cadet S5:

This position is the social media manager for the program. They will work with fellow cadets on postings to each social media platform throughout the semester. This position will receive guidance and mentorship from the programs social media Cadre member. 

Cadet S6:

This position is responsible for communications, the alumni BLOG page, and maintaining this website. They ensure computers and projectors are available for presentations along with ensuring that radios are available. They will maintain this website and complete monthly posts to the Alumni BLOG page. This position will receive guidance and mentorship from the supply tech with oversight from the program XO. 

Cadet S8:

This position is responsible for the management of the cadet fund. They will ensure meetings are held with representatives from all year groups to help decide how funds are used in the program. This position will receive guidance and mentorship from the program executive officer. 

Cadet Chaplain:

This position is responsible for the moral of the cadets. Their focus on the moral will be maintained through the cadet mentorship program along with working with the S2 on retention activities. This position will receive mentorship and guidance from the PMS.
