How did you find out about CSB/SJU?
My American neighbor, who was teaching in China, recommended CSB/SJU to me.  I started searching for any information I could find about CSB/SJU. I found it was a good place to study, to make friends, and to know real American culture. The ratio of faculty to students is 12:1, which helps me get to know everyone and be a part of the class discussions.

Even though I have only been here for seven months, I really love the campuses. I know that my decision to study at CSB/SJU was right for me. This is not only a place where you can learn, but also a wonderland where you can have fun.

Do you plan to study abroad?
I am a Chinese student in the United States, but I still plan to take the advantage of CSB/SJU's study abroad program. I want to study in Italy and Greece in my junior year. CSB/SJU offers many study abroad programs - 17 semester-long programs!

Is it easy to get involved?
We have tons of student activities on both campuses. Participating in campus events has helped me make a lot of friends. I believe that it is important to support campus events and contribute my abilities and time as well.

What do you think of CSB/SJU's location?
Some people say we are located in the middle of nowhere, but I don't agree with that.  We have buses that go between the two campuses every 30 minutes and there are buses to St. Cloud every weekend for only one dollar.  You don't even have to go to St. Cloud, because you can pretty much get everything in St. Joseph, where CSB is located. You don't have to worry about emergencies because if you really need to go to the town, your Minnesota friends will help you out! Everyone here is very nice and willing to help others. It is also very peaceful here. You can lie on the grass, reading books or just relax for a whole day. It is so different from big cities because everything is slower here - you have plenty time to study, think, or relax.

What has been your favorite experience so far?
The best experience I've had was our choir trip. I am in the Saint John's Men's Chorus, and we have performed many concerts in several cities. In February we were invited to Appleton, Wisconsin. It was a seven hour trip so we had a lot of time to talk with other, watch movies, and play cards. We stayed with host families so that we had chance to get to know local people and exchange ideas with them.
