Student Checklist

Please make reservations for your flight to arrive at the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP).

Try to arrive during the day between the hours of 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. We will have student mentors available to greet you when you arrive to campus and to escort you to your room. Please avoid arriving to campus before our designated arrival date as there will be no programming or services and your room will not be ready. By arriving on the designated arrival date you will have plenty of time to move into your room, get adjusted to the time difference and you will have an opportunity to go shopping at a local shopping mall during the orientation program.

Getting to Campus

Please be aware that the CSB+SJU campuses are approximately 80 miles (128 kilometers) away from the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. It takes approximately 1.5 hours by car to go from the airport to the campuses, depending on traffic.

The CSB+SJU International Admission Office can make arrangements for you to get from the airport to campus.  If you would like us to make arrangements, please choose that option on the International Student Arrival Form on the Student Checklist. If you will rent a car or make other arrangements on your own to arrive to campus, please choose one of those options on the International Student Arrival Form so that we are aware of your plans and approximate time of arrival to campus.

Note: We recommend that you do not take a taxi cab from the airport to CSB+SJU as the cost is very expensive.

Flight Delays

If your flight is unexpectedly delayed and will arrive late at night, please contact Sarah Simpson, Associate Director of Admission. She will give you instructions on the best options for you to arrive to CSB+SJU. In an extreme emergency please seek overnight accommodations near the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP) and call us for further instructions.
