Got Syrup?

Saint John's maple tappers

The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University are located on 3,300 acres of woods with an abundant supply of sugar maple trees. For more than 60 years the SJU community has been tapping these maple trees to make its own maple syrup. In this video posted on the Star Tribune Web site, 100 CSB/SJU students and volunteers tapped 800 trees in two hours.
