More about Emily:

"I love CSB/SJU for so many reasons. One of those reasons is all of the opportunities to get involved on campus. Currently, I am on the executive board of the Joint Events Council (JEC), president of Active Minds, and a study abroad ambassador. I studied abroad on the Greco-Roman program in fall 2016 and was life-changing. I wish I could do it all over again."

Some of Emily's CSB/SJU Favorites: Events: JEC events, fall and spring concerts; Meal: Burritos at McGlynn's; Traditions: Johnnie football, Family Weekend, Little Sibs Weekend; Spot on campus: Clemens Perk."

More about Sarah:

"I have been involved in many clubs and activities at CSB/SJU. I'm in Alpha Kappa Sigma Service Sorority, Joint Events Council, Intramural Sand Volleyball, and Entrepreneur Scholars. I also studied and interned abroad this last fall(2016) in Athens, Greece! By being involved I have met amazing people and had once in a lifetime opportunities.

My favorite CSB/SJU event is Pines, an all day music festival. My favorite meal is when they have a Quesadilla Bar at Gorecki - it's AMAZING! My favorite tradition is Tommie/ Johnnie Football game because this rivalry pushes both teams to perform their best. It is a great tradition that binds our community together. My favorite professor at CSB/SJU is Betsy Johnson-Miller. She really takes the time to get to know her students and pushes them to do better."

More about Emily:

"I have absolutely loved my experience at CSB/SJU! I know I have made incredible friendships that will last a lifetime! It has been so fun to participate in activities and clubs on campus, such as intramural sports and Benedictine Friends! I spent the fall of 2017 studying abroad in Greece and Rome, which was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience I will cherish for the rest of my life.

My favorite meals are the sandwiches and wings from McGlynns at CSB! Sometimes I even find myself craving McGlynns when I am home on breaks! Clemen's Perk, the student run coffee shop connected to the library, is one of my favorite spots on the CSB campus because they serve very tasty drinks and I am usually guaranteed to see someone I know!"

More about Cathy:

"I am a second-year Bennie and a dance instructor for the Ballroom Dance Club. I am the Underclass Representative for the CSB Senate, and I work as a tour guide along with being an Admission Student Representative. For spring break, I will be heading to Kansas City, MO on an Alternative Break Experience volunteering with Operation Breakthrough, and I will be studying abroad in London next fall. I played a part in last year’s fall play, "The Bacchae” and have performed and emceed the Festival of Cultures. Both were great experiences! I love all the opportunities to try new things, like taking music lessons; I had no music experience, but I am learning guitar and harp this semester. You never get bored at CSB/SJU!”

More about Susie:

"I have loved my time here at CSB/SJU! During my first two and a half years I spent my time getting involved with the Cultural Affairs Board as a Program Coordinator and a Student Life Liaison. I was a part of the Student Ambassadors program, where I gave tours and hosted overnights for prospective students (all of you!). My sophomore year, I decided to dive for the CSB/SJU team, which was an amazing experience. Spring of 2017, I studied abroad in Australia and absolutely loved it! Our affiliated institute was University of Notre Dame Fremantle, located in a suburb called Fremantle in Perth, Western Australia. During my time there, I was President of the International Students Club. As a senior now, I am currently involved on campus as a Study Abroad Ambassador, helping with events and preparing students for their study abroad trip. I am also a Tour Guide on both campuses, and a Supervisor for our Prospective Students Relations Assistant team!"

"My time at CSB/SJU has been amazing! I have spent a lot of my time studying, but not all of it! With the few free hours a day that I have I love to head to the BAC and play the drums to almost any song! I am also part of the Intercultural Leadership program and love listening to the amazing guest speakers that the program brings in for us. I am a volunteer tutor for both chemistry and biology. I do this as a way of giving back to the wonderful CSB/SJU community."

"I am involved in dance team, orchestra, and Benedictine friends here. I like going to events like dances, the festival of cultures, performances in our concert halls, and sporting events. I love taking classes with different people and being able to learn from them. I really liked taking my Health and Fitness class because I got to learn how gender can affect how you exercise, and the Hmong Conversation and Culture class because I learned how culture affects healthcare and how to provide for people of other cultures."

"I am involved in Residence Hall Association (RHA), where we coordinate events for the women in our residence halls. I am also involved in Black Student Association and we mostly do community building events and invite all students on campus to our weekly meetings. I visited CSB/SJU during a Fly-in and I really liked the faculty and staff and how supportive they were. I love all of the traditions we have on campus! Let your light shine is a beautiful ceremony. The annual Festival of Cultures is a fun event and the performances are great."
