COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. - Body of Clay, Soul of Fire: Richard Bresnahan and the Saint John's Pottery, the story of Saint John's University artist-in-residence Richard Bresnahan as told by Matthew Welch, was recently named as one of the three finalists for the 2002 Benjamin Franklin Award in the Arts (art/music/photography) category.

The Benjamin Franklin Awards are sponsored by Publishers Marketing Association, and celebrate the excellence in editorial and design for major newspaper and trade media reviewers, bookstore and library buyers and reviewers, non-competing publishers, artists and writers who serve the industry.

The College of Saint Benedict for women and Saint John's University for men are partners in liberal arts education, providing students the opportunity to benefit from the distinctions of not one, but two nationally recognized Catholic, Benedictine, residential undergraduate colleges. Together, the colleges challenge students to live balanced lives of learning, work, leadership and service in a coeducational environment.
