The Women's Lives Series speaks to the diversity of women's lives and experiences providing students with opportunities to look at women's issues in a sustained, focused and critical way, utilizing an intercultural approach. This series promotes dialogue on some of the difficult questions about women's roles in society, obstacles they face and the strengths and perspectives they have to offer. While focusing on women's intellectual growth, the series seeks to provide women with the opportunity to integrate their spiritual, psychological, physical, emotional and intellectual selves and to use this self-understanding as a basis for taking action in the world.
