The CSB Sister Nancy Hynes Center for Women would like to welcome you to visit us and learn about our initiatives for the women of the College of Saint Benedict!

The Center for Women is proud to announce that on September 16, 2007 the center was dedicated to Dr. Sister Nancy Hynes.  In honor of Sister Nancy, the center is now called the Sister Nancy Hynes Center for Women.

It is with deepest respect and sympathy that we announce the passing of Sister Nancy Hynes on December 15th, 2008. Sister Nancy was an inspiration for the students, faculty, staff, and community members of The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University. As an educator, Sister, and friend she was always a dedicated advocate of the women's movements through her actions and her words. The Center for Women is committed to continuing her work and honoring her legacy.

The Sister Nancy Hynes Center for Women is located in the Haehn Campus Center (HCC) between the Information Desk and Alumnae Hall.
