Meet Our Staff

Director: Dr Marian Diaz, D Min although a Minnesota native, is a new-comer to the CSB/SJU community. She moved here from South Florida with her husband, Miguel, (a professor of Theology at CSB/SJU,) Joshua (13), Ana (11), Mani (9), Miguel David (3) and Spirit, an Irish Setter. She completed a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and a masters degree in scripture from Catholic Theological Union. Marian studied for her Doctor of Ministry degree at Barry University while directing the adult lay ministry formation program for the Diocese of Palm Beach, Florida.  Her interests include hiking, swimming, water-skiing, photography, music, flute, reading and cooking. Marian speaks both English and Spanish.

Administrative Assistant: Gloria "Chic" Hardy  started at St. John’s in 1989 working for several academic departments, including the Core Office, Communication, Philosophy, and the Forum.  Since 2002 has been working with the Vocation Project, and more recently with Companions on a Journey.  She completed a B.A. from CSB in Communication.  Her interests include Bonco, reading, and her husband Jay.

Assistand Director: Trish Dick, OSB  Started with the Vocation Project July '07.  Trish also heads up the Ministry Formation program titled "SALT".  Trish is a member of St Benedict's Monastery.
