Services

CSB/SJU Upward Bound provides the following services:

1. Tutoring once a week at the target schools during the academic year
2. Cultural, social, and recreational activites during the academic year, Saturday meetings, and the Summer Program
3. Assistance with the college selection process, inlcuding college searches, tours, applications, entrance exams, and financial aid
4. Help building skills used in test taking
5. Preparation for the ACT and SAT
6. Improvement of high school grades through weeky tutoring and monitoring process
7. Personal, academic, and career counseling
8. Opportunity to meet new people
9. Leadership training
10. Monthly Saturday workshops where students spend time with their mentors and participate in other activities
11. Six-week summer enrichment program at the College of Saint Benedict
