Summer Research

Summer research fellowships are available for CSBSJU students in Psychology, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Nursing, Nutrition, Math, and Physics during the summer of 2008.  Click HERE for more information!

Science and social science students should consider applying for National Science Foundation sponsored REU programs at other campuses. These summer positions are found at colleges, field stations, and research institutes across the country and welcome talented students from schools like ours.  Students in their freshman, sophomore or junior years are eligible for these summer research opportunities. 

Dr. William Lamberts, Biology, is organizing a China Exchange Program for research students in psychology, biology, chemistry, math, and biochemistry.  Participants will spend 6 wks in China at Southwest Normal University and 6 weeks back at CSBSJU working with a faculty member and a Chinese student partner. 

The prestigious Nasa program is seeking sophomore, junior, and senior students for internships.  Areas of interest are engineering, math, computer science and life/physical sciences.  Click HERE for more information regarding this 10-week summer opportunity.
