The 8th Annual CSBSJU Celebrating Scholarship & Creativity Day will take place on Wednesday, April 23rd. This event recognizes and honors the achievements of students who have undertaken significant research, scholarship, or creative works during the course of the past year.
Ms. Natalie Angier, a delightful speaker, Pulitzer Prize winning author and New York Times lead science writer, will deliver our 2008 Celebrating Scholarship & Creativity Day keynote address at St. John’s in the morning, followed by discussion with a faculty panel.
Nobel Laureate Leon Lederman writes of Ms. Angier that "…her command of language shames the poets, her grasp of how science works exposes the joy and beauty of discovery…how dare she write so artfully, explain so brilliantly, rendering us scientists simultaneously proud and inarticulate!"
