How do you plan to use your Theology Degree when you graduate?
I hope to go into medicine and I believe the theology degree will really keep me grounded in working with what I see as God’s creation—serving God’s creation in a very human sense. I think that brings a very important element to what I view as my vocation.
What has been the highlight of your experiences with the CSB/SJU Theology Department?
The “First Friday’s” are a lot of fun. These are held the first Friday of each month and a bunch of students and professors get together to discuss whatever is on our minds in theology. It’s wonderful to get there and hear very informed opinions expressed by the professors.
What message do you have for future students at CSB/SJU?
If you’re at all interested by the required 180 Theology class, remember that's not all that there is. It’s like the old analogy; if you drink from a fire hose—you can get a little bit, but there is so much more.
Are you involved in any other activities at CSB/SJU?
I’m in the Ballroom Dance Club and the Taekwondo Club.
