Hi, I'm Jack Dempsey, Production Manager for the Benedicta Arts Center and CSB/SJU Theater Department. I'm responsible for all technical aspects of performance here at the BAC and with the help of my two talented Technical Directors I oversee and 15-20 students that we hire every year, things tend to work out quite nicely.

I'm currently in my fourteenth year working at the Arts Center and I really do enjoy it. As an alumni who worked on these stages as a St. John's student in the early 80's it really was like coming home when I took this position. After graduation in 1985, I worked professionally for 8 years in technical theater which took me across the country a number of times. You might have heard of a few of these places:
