Instructions on the Creation of Communite Folder in Outlook

The Communite Client software creates properties within outlook to help you customize your unified messaging mailbox.  It will create a folder that gives you a visualization of your mailbox. (You can also access this folder by going to http://communite/communite .

If you do not have a Communite folder within your outlook folder lists, after the client installation.  Please perform the following steps to create the folder.

*First click on your folder lists at the bottom of your outlook shortcuts.  The folder just may be hidden.

If the folder does not appear you will need to create the folder.  Please follow these steps:

To create a new folder to access voice mail parameters

• In outlook, click on File
• New
• Folder
• Enter the folder name as Communite

After you create the folder, you will need to point that folder to a website.  To do this:

• Right click on your newly created Communite folder
• Click Properties
• Click on the Home Page tab
• In the URL Address enter: http://communite/communite
• Make sure the Show home page by default for this folder box is checked.

• Click on OK
• Your folder should now be seen within your Outlook folders
