CSB SUSTAINABILITY DIRECTOR

Sustainability Director Judy Purman

Judy Purmanjoined CSB in August 2010 as the Director of the Office of Sustainability where she oversees CSB's commitment to the American Colleges and Universities President's Climate Commitment (ACUPCC) promoting collaboration campus-wide and in the community. She also directed the Guatemala semester abroad program in 2015 and co-directed the short-term study abroad program in Otavalo, Ecuador for three years.  She earned a BA in History from Beloit College and an MS in Horticulture from the University of Maryland-College Park.  She enjoysa good novel, travel, quilt making, board games.

CSB SUSTAINABILITY FELLOW

Sustainability Fellow Alex Miller

Alexandra Milleris the Sustainability Fellow for the 2015-2016 academic year. Alex grew up in Dilworth,MN and graduated in May 2015 with an Environmental Studies degree with an emphasis in Management and a minor in Political Science from Bemidji State University. During her time at BSU, Alex worked in the Sustainability Office as project manager.  In her free time, Alex enjoys biking, volleyball, gardening, and canning her harvest in the fall.

Student Employees 

Madi Sundlofis currently a senior majoring in environmental studies with a biology minor. This year she will be helping the Sustainability Office with the Eco-Reps program and assisting in a variety of other projects. She enjoys running, exploring, and Nutella. After visiting 3 countries in Africa and spending 2 months farming in Lesotho, she is a soil lover and has a passion for traveling.

Student Employees

Kyle Munshower is a sophomore student from Minneapolis. This is his first year in the office and he is the Communications & Marketing Coordinator. Kyle works regularly maintaining the office's website and cultivating an intuitive social media presence. Kyle is passionate about climate policy and sustainable economics, and hopes to spread awareness about related topics on campus. Outside of the office, Kyle is an active member of the theatre community and is a member of the Attention-Starved Children improv comedy group. Additionally, he brews his own kombucha, loves biking in his hometown of Minneapolis, and is an avid coffee drinker.
