Multicultural/International Diversity

An increasingly diverse society and the blurring of national borders have dramatically increased the importance of a multicultural, international understanding of the world. CSB and SJU realize the opportunities that accompany this rapid cultural shift, and we continue to enhance our curriculum and build programs to better serve our students.

The CSB/SJU international study program is one of the most successful in the country, offering 15 semester-long programs. In addition, there are 150 CSB/SJU students from 39 countries and 145 students participating in the multicultural student programs.

Student organizations such as the Cultural Affairs Board, Multicultural Student Organization, Bahamian Club and Asia Club plan campus-wide cultural events and sponsor activities and speakers aimed at advancing multiculturalism and internationalism on campus.
